Delivery Driver Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drives fleet vehicle to deliver facility’s pharmacy products and medical supplies to customer’s home or place of business.
  • Utilizes iPad to record delivery information.
  • Records delivery information on daily delivery record.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Calls customers to establish delivery time or confirm special instruction(s), if applicable.
  • Listens to and/or resolves delivery/service complaints. Appropriately de-escalates any complaints that cannot be resolved. Relays all concerns to supervisor.
  • Collects or picks up rejected or recalled pharmacy products.
  • Loads fleet vehicle.
  • Cleans inside/outside of fleet vehicle.
  • Performs routine maintenance on fleet vehicle.
  • Follows all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
  • Performs daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education and/or Experience – Must have or obtain a pharmacy technician license during the onboarding process, which requires completing a background check. 
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. 
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
